Hello,

As we wrap up the season today, I want to send out a few reminders.

1. All clothes and bags need to be washed and turned in on Monday. I’ll be over right after school. If you need to catch a bus, let me know and I’ll come over during PM Blackhawk. Bills will be issued Tuesday for any missing gear.

2. Banquet. I’m solidifying the date for the banquet. As of right now it looks like March 17. I’m trying to avoid Big Ten and NCAA weekend, as well as youth regional Saturday. Please watch for the date early next week.

3. Concessions. Wrestlers are to do the home boys basketball game on Tuesday, February 27th. Be there to help wrestlers. Boosters have helped us get a mat and renovate the room for you. These are not cheap things. Please help out by 6:00 pm. We will let you watch the game during the slow times. Plan to work 6:00-8:30. More hands, less time needed by all.

4. Thank you. It was a great season. There is a lot of potential. But we need to utilize it. Many have already asked about dominate the dells and such. If you’d like to do off season tournaments, let us know. Plenty of kids do them. Reach out to your teammates. We will have more updates on summer wrestling opportunities soon. I’ll have a more detailed thank you at the banquet. So many of you played a huge part in this season and it’s appreciated.
