Rhinelander--- no concessions at the dome

13 Jun by Dan Machovec

I just got an updated agenda for tomorrow with everything. Hope this helps you all plan accordingly! Sorry for the confusion!

Schedule: Dual start times below are subject to change, if duals end early we will move on to the next dual as soon as possible.
8:45-10:00 Check in by team – As teams check in we will have all kids step on the scale
so we have up to date weights for matchups.
10:15 AM – 11:45 AM – Technique session with Charlie Millard, Wyatt Duchateau, Silas Dailey, Ben Bast
11:45-12:15 rehydrate/eat prep for dual 1
12:15-1:15 – Dual 1
1:15-2:15 – Dual 2
2:15- 3:15 -Dual # 3
3:15-4:15 -Dual # 4
4:15-5:15 -Dual 5

*Matches will be 2-1-1
*Matches will be by nearest weight not by weight class
*Coaches will get together during the technique session to set up matches for the day.
*We will combine smaller teams together to make bigger teams for the day, so unless you are coming with 14 or more wrestlers expect to be paired up with another small group. If you are paired with another team you will be with that team all day.
*All wrestlers will weigh in upon arrival and coaches will do a skin check
*Each team will need to supply 1 table worker for their own duals. This can be a wrestler, parent, manager, extra coach etc. So one team will keep time and one will keep match score.
*We will not have any concessions so please bring your own food and drink, the dome only allows water inside the air lock so we will have a team room set aside for kids to store any coolers and as a spot they can eat.
*Please bring a check for any remaining balance for your teams entry on June 15 and checks can me make out to: Rhinelander Wrestling Club
*Athletic Trainer will be on sight for the day.
*There will not be a team score kept only individual match scores
*Wrestlers can get more than one match per dual if the wrestler and coaches agree as long as they get ample rest time between matches, (wrestle first and last match of the dual)
*Chairs will be provided matside like a regular dual meet however any spectators that are coming to watch should bring their own bag chair to sit on.
*Remember that this camp is about getting our kids mat time and experience, let’s do our best as coaches to keep it positive and constructive.
